A new (and better) way to create content
Let’s play a game.
You want to become an authority in your niche (so you can land clients).
Maybe you’re a copywriter.
Maybe you’re an email marketer.
Maybe you’re a coach/consultant.
Let’s pick “email marketing” (since that’s something you clearly have an interest in, if you’re on this list).
But there’s a problem…
You don’t know how to position yourself uniquely so that you are “different” from the 100s of other copywriters offering the same thing as you.
So…
You start wracking your brains.
You start, desperately, scrambling around for content ideas.
You start overthinking everything about your Twitter bio, banner and pinned tweet.
But…
Nada.
And you end up forcing out a tweet which, in all honesty, doesn’t feel very “special” to you.
But then I ask you a question…
Question: What do MOST email marketers focus on, which you think is stupid?
Suddenly, your brain is “tuned in”.
And you realise that, for the newsletters you ACTUALLY enjoy reading, you barely even read the subject line (the thing which MOST email marketers treat as gospel).
Instead, you click simply because it’s a newsletter you ENJOY reading.
And that sparks a tweet idea:
Subject lines are overrated.
But now you have ANOTHER problem.
You don’t know how to word that into a 280-character tweet.
Hmmm.
But then you remember…
You’ve got a “formula” which pairs perfectly with this EXACT style of tweet:
=======================================
A hill I will die on:
Stop worrying about [stupid thing].
Start focusing on [more important thing].
[Heavy-hitting one-liner which summarises your “big idea”]
=======================================
And suddenly, wording the tweet becomes effortless:
=======================================
A hill I will die on:
Stop worrying about your subject lines.
Start focusing on what’s inside the email.
Over time, people will start clicking simply because it’s YOU.
=======================================
Sounds familiar…
A hill I will die on:
Stop worrying about your email subject lines.
Start focusing on what’s inside the email.
Over time…
People will start to click simply because it’s YOU.

Can you see how this is more than just a “content system”?
This is a positioning system.
Because, by asking yourself the “right” questions, you can effortlessly come up with content angles which paint MOST email marketers as the “enemy” (and YOU as the ONE who truly “gets” email marketing)
And now all the business owners, who are in need of an email marketer, read your tweet and say…
“Hey, this guy clearly knows his shit, and he’s got a different (and better) approach to email marketing than most people!”
And then, once you’ve rinse-and-repeated that strategy enough, people start to see you as a competent email marketer.
People reach out to your advice.
They DM you.
They tell you about the problems they’re having with their own list.
And, before you know it, you’re on a call with this guy, discussing how you can help him make more money by writing his emails.
Can you see how that process works?
You ask the RIGHT question — a “probing” question, which forces you to think differently to how you do right now.
Your creative juices start flowing.
And suddenly, positioning yourself as an expert (i.e. someone worthy of being paid to do someone’s email marketing) doesn’t seem all that hard.
This is the foundation of my content positioning system.
And it’s what allows me to paint myself as someone “worthy” of getting inbound DMs from 7-Figure entrepreneurs with the capacity to pay me $1,000s every month to write simple emails for them.
You can do this too.
I’m genuinely not special.
I just know the right questions to ask, which FORCE me to position myself “uniquely” in my market.
I’ll give you a little “glimpse” into how this systems looks from the inside:
