how to make your writing not suck
“Get better at writing and you’ll earn more money”.
Every fucker and their nan tells you this when you first start out writing online.
But here’s the problem:
They don’t actually tell you how to do it do they.
It’s frustrating AF.
That’s why with this email I want to show you exactly how I went from a guy who had never written a tweet in his life to getting 1M+ impressions on 𝕏 just 70 days later.
I’m going to give you the 3 actions that got me to this point, as well as the 3 resources I have used most heavily to improve my writing.
No B.S.
No fluff.
Just actionable advice.
Action #1: 3 Tweets every single day
I know you’ve heard this advice a million times before.
But that’s because it’s true.
The quickest way to improve your writing is to publish 3 tweets EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Why?
Because tweets will teach you the 3 fundamental components of how to write effectively:
Capture attention (hook)
Hold attention (body)
Be remembered (punchy conclusion)
Not only this but you’ll get instant market feedback about whether your writing is any good or not – the tweet will either perform well or it won’t!
Either way, you receive a data point to improve your writing quality.
Action #2: One long form piece every single day
If you want to monetize your writing, it is not enough to rely on short form content.
You need to learn not only to capture people’s attention, but to hold it.
Because the longer you can hold attention, the longer they are exposed to your ideas.
And the longer someone is exposed to your ideas, the more likely they will be to remember you.
And the more someone is to remember you, the more likely it is you who will spring to mind when they are ready to buy a product or service.
So commit to writing one long form piece EVERY SINGLE DAY.
This could be:
A long form or thread on 𝕏
An email
A blog post
Just commit to writing SOMETHING over 500 words in length.
People always ask me how I got good at writing so quickly.
Well, this is my secret.
One (or more) long form pieces. Every single day. Without fail.
Do the same.
Action Point #3: Release a (free) product every 28 days
I am constantly writing new giveaways, free products and courses.
Why?
Because good writing is simply a result of logical, ordered thinking.
And writing an entire course, E-Book or guide teaches you to order your thoughts more logically and with a greater level of structure than writing a standalone tweet.
So commit to building a (free) course over every 28 days.
I guarantee it will be the most rapid period of improvement you have ever seen in your writing ability (and you’ll gain some additional followers and cash to boot).
Now, onto some useful resources.
Resource #1: The Art and Business of Online Writing, by Nicolas Cole
Love him or hate him, Nicolas Cole knows what he is doing.
This book is a genuine godsend if you’re just getting into the online writing space.
In fact, it is the first book I ever read about writing in the digital world and I would HIGHLY recommend you pick yourself up a copy if you are looking to turn your words into cash.
Resource #2: Traffic Secrets, Expert Secrets, Dotcom Secrets (The Russel Brunson Trilogy)
If you are going to buy any books on copywriting and dominating the digital landscape, make it these 3.
I read something from one of these books pretty much every day because they are THAT good at teaching you how to write persuasively and get people to buy your stuff.
It’s like $30 for all 3 books and I genuinely can’t think of a single better investment I’ve personally made.
Resource #3: My FREE Ultimate Guide E-Books
You didn’t think I’d write an email about how to persuade people to consume your content without plugging some of my own did you haha?
In all seriousness, I am genuinely proud of these 3 E-Books.
I have had a ton of people message saying they’ve given them a better understanding of how to write better content than any other resource on X.
If you haven’t checked them out, hopefully they can do the same for you!
Right.
That’s all from me today guys.
I hope that was gave you a bit more understanding about how to improve your writing ability!

Harry
