Got this message from a former client yesterday:

Now…
I’m not a particularly “soppy” guy.
But seeing a Telegram message pop through on your phone from a guy who lives in another country, who you once didn’t even know existed, and who you’ve now become genuine friends with and helped them take strides forwards in their biz and personal life?
You can’t ask for a better feeling when sipping your morning coffee.
Because, listen:
Building a business is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do.
Not just because every day you feel like you’re wading deeper and deeper into the unknown, with no-one to hold your hand and show you the way.
But because, on the surface, everyone else seems to have it “figured out”.
Every time you open the timeline, there’s someone who’s just hit their first $20,000 month.
Someone else shouting about gaining 1,000 followers.
And another dude talking about the “big move” he’s just taken in his biz.
And meanwhile…
You’re just trying to figure out how the fuck to stay afloat.
And look —
I’m a VERY self-assured person.
I have a problem?
My brain INSTANTLY starts looking for ways to fix it.
That’s just how I’m “wired”.
But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wake up every single morning with doubts about myself, my brand, what the fuck I’m doing, and what the “next step” should be.
We all feel like that.
No matter how much people on social media try to convince you they’re not just as confused as you, I can tell you from experience…
They are.
They’re just further along in the game, and have a whole different set of confusing problems and challenges they’re trying to work through.
And if you take nothing else from this email, let it be this:
You are going to figure this shit out if you just keep moving.
Day by day.
Week by week.
Month by month.
You will eventually get to where you want to be.
But I have learned a thing or two about a thing or two.
The message I got yesterday from my former client is (I think) testament to that.
