My opinion?

He’s hit the nail straight on the fucking dome.

With solid positioning, business becomes easy.

Your offers, your content, and your branding feel aligned.

You stop competing.

And the right people start reaching out to YOU because it’s painstakingly obvious how you can help them.

But positioning always felt like a bit of a marketing “buzzword” to me.

Not my style.

I like to keep things simple, common sense, and in a way which helps you see through the smoke and mirrors of the marketing world.

So…

What actually is positioning?

Ask your favourite creator this.

I guarantee you not one of them will be able to give you a straight answer.

They’ll say it’s about “standing out” or “being unique”.

But that’s fuck all use, because it doesn’t give any insight about what it means on a BASE level.

So, let’s put it into plain English today:

Positioning is what other people say your business does.

Example:

Amazon gets my deliveries to me the next day.

That’s Amazon’s positioning.

And the reason most creators fail to attract the clients and customers they want is because their positioning is about as clear as the kid at school’s face who drew the short straw and got bombarded with a fucking napalm strike of pimples, acne and boils.

Their content feels scattered.

Their messaging is off.

They aren’t speaking the same language as the people they want to work with.

And the result?

An endless grind where you’re always chasing clients and having to “sell” them on the idea of working with you because, in their mind, they have no idea what you can actually do for them.

A better way:

Dial in a consistent positioning for your profile, content and offers so that you repel (yes, repel) anyone who is not your dream clients, and make it crystal clear who you DO help.

This is how you flip the script and have people reach out to you (rather than always being the chaser).

Because you might not realise it.

But the business owners capable of paying you $1,000s every month are in pain too.

Their life is full of stress.

Their life is full of anxiety.

And they are just ONE moment away from saying “fuck it” and reaching out to someone for help.

They just need the right “nudge”.

So, the question I have for you today:

Are they going to reach out to YOU?
