17 ways to sell more stuff today

These are actually useful

Whenever someone comes to me these days it’s always with the same problem - they’re struggling to convince people to pay them.

And as soon as I dig deeper it always comes down to the same two things:

1) They can’t get people infront of their offer

2) Even when they do, their offer doesn’t convert

And this is exactly what I’ll be helping everyone that’s signed up for my group coaching program to nail (only 1 spot left just 2 days after I released it…).

But for the unfortunate ones who don’t get access to the program…

I want to at least help you get started with fixing these problems for yourself.

I’ll split this email into 2 sections.

Section 1: How to get more people in front of your offer

Section 2: How to improve your offer

And this isn’t going to be generic shit you’ve heard.

Stuff like “you need a guarantee” (which you absolutely do btw - I’m not knocking this advice one bit).

It’s just that the substance of this email is going to be a lot more esoteric than anything you’ve heard before.

More subtle.

But also exactly what you need if you want to take your brand to the next level.

Let’s go.

Section 1: Getting more people in front of your offer

1) The sale happens before the sale

Inception is everything.

Ever notice how a few weeks before someone launch a course or coaching program they start posting about that stuff a lot?

They’re raising awareness levels.

Implanting in your brains why you need their product.

So that when it hits your timeline you’re already primed to understand its relevance to your life and 100x more likely to buy.

I do this with everything I release.

Because it takes people a while to realise they actually need something before they’re willing to pull the trigger.

So pre-heat the oven, baby.

2) IDGAF, shoot-from-the-hip writing wins every time

Neediness stinks.

Abundance attracts.

If you reek of desperation then you won’t make it.

How do you develop an abundance mindset?

Through progressive mastery of your craft.

Study and implement new strategies EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Keep what works.

Chuck what doesn’t.

Be absolutely ruthless with your strategy selection.

Make it inevitable that you will eventually get clients.

This way you'll never appear needy again.

And by the way - you can’t cheat this with mindset hacks.

It comes from cold, hard understanding of your specific niche.

3) Your writing vibe is your perfume

Ever walk past a cute girl (or guy) and immediately get intoxicated by the smell of their perfume?

Instant attraction.

Before you’ve even said a word to them.

It’s the same with your writing “vibe”.

Your personality.

The “feel” to everything you say.

Your writing style is the perfume that attracts people walking past, seizes ‘em and has their head swivelling on a pivot faster than Hedwig in Harry Potter.

Because your service matters, sure.

But I’d rather pay $1k to work with someone I genuinely liked than $500 to work with someone I thought was a knob even if they got me the same results.

Personality and vibe has a price tag.

And you get to set it based on how you write.

4) Make your frequency unbeatable

Grant Cardone says this all the time.

“You can’t beat my frequency.”

What he means by this is the more offers you make, the more money you make.

It is LITERALLY that simple.

If you aren’t sending out a daily email, tweet or DM and pitching an offer EVERY SINGLE DAY then you are absolutely fucking your business.

5) Longer emails for higher ticket offers

People need more convincing when they’re paying more. Obviously.

6) Regularly clean out your list

This applies to both X and your newsletter.

I discard all the shit I’ve accumulated in my Twitter and newsletter lists every month.

Fail to do this and you will dilute your audience quality.

Which will dilute the quality of the insights you are exposed to and hence the insights you put out.

Now onto the second part: improving your offer.

Section 2: Improving your offer

7) Specificity is king

Vagueness kills.

“I’ll make you more money” will get no sales.

“I’ll land you 3 paying clients in the next 60 days and if I don’t I’ll work for free until you do” will get lots of sales.

8) Arbitrage the downsides

Your offer has negatives.

It’s unavoidable.

But the key lies in realising that one person’s negative is another person’s positive.

Because you then get to leverage this arbitrage.

For example, if I’m a realtor selling houses close to a pub then for 95% of people that’s going to be a huge downside.

But rather than try to be stealthy and hide it, I’m going to lean into it fully.

Why?

Because for 5% of people (youngsters, for examples) that’s going to be a HUGE upside.

And those are the people who are going to pay above and beyond for a house in that location.

9) Give your product / service a unique name

Blueprint. Accelerator. Booty Blaster.

There’s a reason people do this.

Because it implies you have a unique mechanism to achieve results (which people like).

And this drives more sales.

10) Tell people who your service is NOT for

People love feeling like they’re the exception.

This is just reverse psychology 101.

It also saves you so much time from having to filter out a bunch of time wasters with no ability or intention of every paying you.

11) Relate your pricing to something people already spend frivolously on

For example, if you have a subscription service which costs $30/mo, you could use something along the lines of “Less than your daily cup of coffee.”

12) Conviction is everything - you waver, you lose.

Don’t believe 100% in your service?

Your leads won’t either.

The best way to fix lack of confidence in your offer isn’t by “mindset tactics”.

It’s continuing to upskill yourself and master your craft so well that you annihilate any shred of doubt from your mind that you will not be able to get people results.

This confidence will then flow through naturally without you having to force it.

13) Sell from the outset.

Unless you want to attract a whole bunch of people with a bad image of sales to your list and then have to deal with them complaining about you “selling out”.

Lol.

Fuck off if you aren’t interested.

Nobody’s holding you hostage haha.

14) Limited time offers work fucking wonders

Nothing, and I mean nothing, sparks motion into leads like FOMO.

Use it to your advantage.

And then back up your offer by delivering the most mindblowing service they’ve ever seen.

15) Limit your spaces to something you know you can sell out

Then, when you do, remind everyone you sold out last time.

This will let you leverage a higher price.

16) Price increase threats work best when they’re roughly double the original amount

Learned this from a $5M/ARR brand owner.

17) Get to the point, cut the fluff

When you read an offer do you care about all the guff and fluff behind it?

The stupid text blocks the person writing it thinks is selling you but is really just making the core offer unclear?

Of course not.

You care about one thing: “how will this offer help me”.

State that clearly, undeniably and immediately.

Fail to do this and you will bleed money from your business like crazy.

There you are guys.

6 ways to get more people in front of your offer.

PS. Want to scale your brand from $0 -> $5k/mo in the next 90 days?

My group coaching program is now LIVE.

I'll be showing you and 4 other creators how to scale from $0 to $5k/month in the next 90 days.

And you’ll be doing it alongside someone who's already done it - me.

Over the next 12 weeks I'll be holding your hand the whole way to that $5k/mo mark.

In 90 days you’ll be ready to never work another miserable job again (trust me, it feels fucking good).

This will be an elite squad and I will only be taking on people who are 100% committed to becoming a full-time creator.

But there's a few things you should know:

Only 1/5 spots remaining (2 more got snatched up yesterday).

I also have several more calls booked with guys who would be great fits for the program.

So if you don’t want to miss out then this is your last chance.

I haven’t decided when I’ll reopen this program but the next time I do the price will be DOUBLE.

Want that last spot?

DM me "Escape" and I'll send you the full program details.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Harry
